Since graduating from the University of Manitoba, Laurel has worked in retail management, marketing and planning in Winnipeg, Calgary and Victoria, taught business administration at the college level and been involved with many different volunteer areas. She finds that the skills she learned in those fields are put to good use in helping clients with their real estate needs. She enjoys the analytical and negotiating aspects of real estate. Her clients know that she puts their best interests first and gives them the time and information they need to make the right decisions.

Laurel has been a resident of the Greater Victoria area since 1979, having moved here from Calgary, and has been a residential specialist with Royal LePage since 1993. As the mother of four grown children, she has been through most ages and stages and can identify with the requirements that families have, from starting out to empty nest and retirement.

She is passionate about her family, her clients and her city. She loves the Victoria lifestyle, reads voraciously, walks the beaches, has taken up watercolours and Scottish Country Dancing and fully expects to get around to golf and a Master's degree when there is time.
